D. L. Baron
President and CEO
Baron has launched and led several service start-ups
in the U.S., Europe and Asia, including the Vietnam
Management Initiative and Knowledge Source. He brings
over 20 years of management and marketing experience,
having held key management positions at General Electric
and Weyerhaeuser Co. While at Weyerhaeuser, Baron served
as Marketing Manager for the Building Products group,
helping manage the $150 million European operations.
At General Electric, he worked with a cross-section
of General Electric businesses for their Corporate Marketing
group, grew a consumer electronics business from $8
to $30 million in 18 months, and led a team to develop
the Consumer Electronics Product of the Year (Winter
CES).
Baron has a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from
Columbia Business School.

Jeff Hall
Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer
Jeff comes to Experticity from five years as COO of Giant Campus, Inc, a leader in the elearning content field where he led the company through a turn-around and then on to record growth and profitability. Jeff was instrumental in building a culture that resulted in Giant Campus being named a three-time finalist in Washington CEO Magazine's “Best Companies to Work For”, a winner of the 2006 Homestreet Bank Small Business Spotlight Award and named in the 2006 and 2007 Deloitte & Touche Technology “Fast 50”, a listing of the fastest growing technology companies in the Pacific Northwest.
Prior to Giant Campus, Jeff was CFO of Crossgain Corporation, a high tech start-up in the XML data-conversion field funded by Benchmark Capital. Jeff led all business and financial functions and played a significant role in the successful acquisition of the company by BEA Systems (BEAS) in 2001.
Before Crossgain, Jeff was President and CFO of Business Computer Training Institute for 12 years, growing the company into the largest vocational training company in the Pacific Northwest and being selected as one of Inc 500’s “fastest growing privately held companies”.

John Schacher
Chief Architect and Director of Engineering
John has over 18 years of professional software development experience. Most recently, he held key positions at Microsoft for two years before joining Experticity. Prior to Microsoft, he led development as Lead Architect and Director of Product Development for Sailwest Computing, as well as top management positions at Symantec, Central Point software, and Eikon Systems. John has led startups, participated in mergers and acquisitions, and managed engineers in large software companies. He has an extensive background in retail and enterprise software production, shipping successful global products in multiple segments spanning software as a service, enterprise security, data mining, web applications, desktop utilities, and desktop productivity. He has extensive Windows programming experience ideally suited to the products developed by Experticity. John’s technical vision and team leadership are a major asset to the company.

Matt Scoble
VP, Business Development
Matt brings over 15 years of experience in the technology industry, having worked with companies such as Symantec, Visio, Microsoft and Starbucks. Before joining the team at Experticity, Matt had worked to develop the Pacific Northwest market at Avalara, a B2B web-services company delivering financial solutions to the small- to mid-sized business (SMB) market. Prior to that, he had worked for three years as a Director of Finance for the North America Business Alliances business unit of Starbucks.
While at Visio, Matt was part of the team that drove the successful IPO and he stayed with the company in increasing roles of responsibility through the Microsoft acquisition. His final role at Visio involved running the M&A and business development program within Visio.
Matt brings an extensive background in building partner channels, in OEM and software licensing arrangements and in mergers & acquisitions.
He has an MBA from the Yale School of Organization & Management and a BA from the University of California at Santa Cruz.

Simon Sudbury
Director, European Business Development
Simon brings many years of business development and strategic marketing experience to the Experticity team. After eight years in brand management and general management roles with Quaker Oats, Simon joined BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the BBC. He worked first as Marketing Director of Television Distribution, where he was responsible for global licensing of television programming and the creation of international TV channels. He later moved to BBC Music, where he headed the global management of all BBC music assets on TV, radio and online. Simon joined Experticity in 2005.
